Ministry of Transport and Public Works Organizes h Honoring Ceremony and Bidding Farewell To Former Minister Al-Durra

The Ministry of Transport and Public Works organized on 18th August 2024 an honoring ceremony and bidding farewell to former Minister of Transport- Abdul Wahab Yahya Al-Durra, in recognition of his efforts during his leadership of the Ministry and its affiliated institutions and authorities.

During the ceremony, the Minister of Transport and Public Works- Muhammad Qohaim handed over a shield of loyalty and a certificate of appreciation to former Minister Al-Durrah.

He also praised the national efforts of the former minister in developing the work of the ministry and its affiliated authorities and institutions, and achieving tangible achievements for the transportation sector despite the aggression and siege....

The Minister Qohaim stressed that the Government of Change and Construction was created in order to meet the needs of the Yemeni citizen who steadfast in the face of aggression, pointing to the importance of cooperation and working as one team to achieve more successes.

For his part, the former Minister- Al-Durrah expressed his gratitude for this honor, calling on the leadership of the Ministry and its affiliated authorities and institutions to continue the efforts to enhance the development of the various transportation sectors.

He also stressed the need to complete the projects under execution and the projects that have not been executed in seaports and airports, especially Sanaa International Airport.

The Chairman of the civil aviation and meteorology authoritie- Yahya Al-Sayani, and the Chairman of land transport affairs- Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, and the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation- Zaid Al-Washli, also honored the former Minister of Transport- Abdul-Wahab Al-Durrah, with a shield of loyalty and certificates of appreciation.
