The Voluntary Reporting System (VORS) aims to enhance aviation safety by collecting reports on actual or potential safety deficiencies that the mandatory reporting systems would not otherwise capture. VORS is a voluntary, non-punitive, and confidential reporting system established by the CAMA in line with ICAO ANNEX 19 & ICAO SMM Doc. 9859. Further information about Voluntary Reporting System is available in CAAP – 57 on the CAMA website (Civil Aviation Legislation). Voluntary report should be filed when there is any information that can help improve aviation safety OR you wish for others to learn and benefit from any occurrence or hazard. Particular attention is paid to protect the reporter’s identity when processing all reports.
