Student pilot license

1-General conditions (requirements) for issuing a student pilot license/aircraft category

1. Fill out the application form for issuing the license in clear writing and have it signed by the applicant for the license.

2. The age of the license applicant must not be less than (17 years) and the license applicant must attach a copy of the ID card, passport, or family card (if he is Yemeni) or a copy of the passport (if he is Arab or foreign).

3. The applicant must have:

A- A certificate of registration or enrollment from any accredited training center.

B- A certificate of successful completion of high school studies (if he is Yemeni) or its equivalent (if he is Arab or foreign).

T- A valid second-class medical evaluation certificate issued by a certified medical examiner.

4. Proficiency in the English language, written and spoken.

5. Pay the due fees in cash in the amount of (5,000) riyals and attach a copy of the fees receipt

6. The period of validity of the leave (12 months) starting from the date of issuance of the leave and ending at the end of the month.

 

2-General conditions (requirements) for renewing the student pilot’s license/aircraft category

1. Submitting a request to renew the license by the entity where the license holder is training or by the license holder.

2. Fill out the application form to renew the license in clear writing and have it signed by the license holder.

3. Holding a student pilot license issued by the Authority.

4. Validity of the Medical Evaluation Certificate - Second Class.

5. Pay the due fees in cash in the amount of (4,000) riyals and attach a copy of the fees receipt.

6. The period of validity of the leave (12 months) starting from the date of renewal of the leave and ending at the end of the month.
