1 General conditions (requirements) for issuing an aircraft maintenance engineer license/basic license
1. Fill out the application form for issuing the license in clear writing and have it signed by the applicant for the license.
2. The age of the license applicant must not be less than (18 years) and the license applicant must attach a copy of the ID card, passport, or family card (if he is Yemeni) or a copy of the passport (if he is Arab or foreign).
3. An exact copy of the certificate of successful completion of high school studies (if Yemeni) or its equivalent
(If he is an Arab or a foreigner).
4. A copy of the certificate of successful completion of the theoretical study at the aircraft maintenance engineering level issued by an accredited training center or:
5. A copy of the practical experience certificate for a period of (4) years in order to issue a license with privileges for the entire aircraft (hulls and engines of Avionics) or two years to issue a license with specific privileges (frames only, engines only, or Avionics only).
6. Successfully passing the written, oral and practical exams.
7. A colored personal photo (size 2 x 3) with a blue background.
8. Pay the due fees in cash in the amount of (20,000) riyals and attach a copy of the fees receipt.
9. The period of validity of the leave (12 months) starting from the date of issuance of the leave.
10. Privileges of the license holder and the conditions that must be observed when exercising these privileges:
A - The privileges of the holder of an aircraft maintenance license must attest to the suitability of the aircraft, or parts thereof, for flight after carrying out licensed work, whether it is repair, modification, or installation of an engine, accessory, tool, and/or device, and he must sign a maintenance permit after inspection and maintenance operations. and/or regular service
