Signing Memorandum of Understanding to Raise Meteorological Services Awareness

The Agreement which was signed by the Asst. Deputy Chairman for Meteorology- Eng. Mohammed Saeed Hamid and Mr. Zeyad Al-Rafiq- Director of Education Bureau in Sana'a establishing an awareness programme for the Secondary Schools to visit Meteorology Sector. The Agreement also included setting a mechanism, a programme of guidance and site visits by the specialists from the meteorological sector to secondary schools to communicate with teachers of practical materials to hold awareness lectures in accordance with the mechanism approved by the Office of Education in the capital Sana'a and the Department of Guidance and Environmental Education. During the signing, Eng. Hamid explained that the Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance the cooperation and coordination to spread a culture of positive dealing with the different weather conditions, protecting the environment, properties and human beings from the hazards of severe weather.
