Prime Minister Receives Report On The Status of Sana'a International Airport Parameter

The Prime Minister- Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtoor met on 1^st November 2021 with the Minister of Transport- Amer Al-Marani, who submitted to him a report on the status of Sana'a International Airport parameter. The report included the ministry's vision to preserve the airport's parameter, including the area specified for the new airport which is located in the western side of the current airport, and to confront the violations that affected a number of its lands.The report pointed out to the need for collaborative efforts of the different concerned and relevant authorities, foremost of which is the Ministry of Transport, to preserve the airport's parameter and ensure that the standards and requirements specified by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) are met. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister directed the formation of a Working Team comprising representatives from the ministry and the different relevant authorities to discuss the common responsibilities, taking measures to preserve the airport's parameter, and taking legal measures against the violators and aggressors.
