Ministry of Transport Inaugurates Work in Public Services and Complaints Receipt Directorate

They also listened to an explanation by the Public Services and Complaints Receipt Directorate personnel about the procedures that have been taken to receive complaints and submitting them to the specialists to take the necessary measures to tackle them and the recent electronic developments introduced to the Directorate to facilitate and complete the transactions within 24 hours and linking them online to ensure that the beneficiaries know about the completion of their transactions. In the inauguration, the Minister of Transport stressed the importance of clarity, transparency and dedication in performing the tasks to serve the society. He also pointed out that the launch of the work of the Public Services Directorate comes in implementation of the President of the Supreme Political Council instructions on the fight against corruption in all the Institutions. He indicated that the Ministry of Transport is aiming to develop its services and facilitate the procedures of transactions through the unified networking between the ministry, its authorities and institutions that will be presented to the customers as well as the services provided in the areas of land, sea and air transport. Meanwhile, the Minister pointed out that the unified networking will make a qualitative leap in the fields of transport as well as the promotion and development of transport sectors locally and internationally. On his part, the Head of the Legal Department in the Presidency Office praised the steps taken by the Ministry of Transport to launch the work of the Public Services and Complaints Receipt Directorate in accordance with the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council drawing the attention to the development in the performance of the Ministry of Transport under the aggression and blockade. He indicated that the functions and work of the Ministry of Transport, its authorities and institutions are linked to the citizens, especially the services and facilitations provided at the level of land, air and sea transport. He also stressed the need for public services and receiving complaints to contribute at easing the difficulties facing the citizens and beneficiaries of the services of the Ministry of Transport and its institutions; stressing that the Ministry of Transport is having the interest of the State’s leadership for its great role in providing services to the society in land, sea and air fields and coping with the new developments in the field of information and systems technology. In the meantime, the Head of the Legal Department at the Presidential Office expressed his happiness with the recent development of the Information Center for Tracking Air, Sea and Land Traffic of the Ministry of Transport, praising the role of the ministry's leadership and aspirations in advancing the transport sectors despite the aggression and blockade.  The inauguration was attended by the Chairman of CAMA- Dr. Mohammed Abdulkader, Deputies of the Ministry of Transport and the Director General of Airports Sector of CAMA-  Mr.Amin Juma’an.
