Minister Qohaim Stresses On Keenness To Execute Priority Projects in the Field of Land Transport

The Minister of Transport and Public Works- Muhammad Qohaim, stressed on the keenness to execute priority projects in the field of land transport in line with the phase of change and building and to provide better services to the citizens at the municipality and governorate levels.

During his visit on 26th August2 2024 to the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, along with the Chairman of Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority- Yahya Al-Sayani, he pointed out to the necessity of executing the important projects in the Transport Authority’s plan for this year in cooperation with the relevant authorities.

The Minister Qohaim praised the level of performance of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, stressing the necessity of field visits and direct supervision of the services provided to the citizens.

While the Chairman of the Authority- Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, provided a clarification about the activities and tasks carried out by the Authority to regulate land transportation in the municipality and the governorates, and local and international mass transportation.

He also stated that the authority is working in cooperation with the relevant authorities to organize urban transport within the capital by creating a sorting and organizing traffic movement in a way that contributes to alleviating the congestion.
