Minister of Transport Reviews Sana'a International Airport Renovations

professional and administrative readiness in the airport and the level of air navigational services provided to the international civil aviation. Meanwhile, the Minister of Transport listened from the airport Director General- Mr. Khaled Al-Shaif and the technicians to an explanation on the technical and professional readiness to operate and receive civil flights in the event of lifting the blockade imposed on the airport by the aggression coalition. He also indicated that the airport receives daily between five to eight aircraft of the United Nations, International and Humanitarian Organizations in accordance with the International conditions and requirements.The Minister of Transport praised the efforts of the technicians and staff working in Sana'a International Airport and the services provided for the flights arriving to the airport in a professional manner according to the international conditions and standards. He also praised and thanked the leadership of CAMA represented by the first commander of aviation in Yemen- Dr. Mohammed Abdulkader who runs the authority with high professionalism and full impartiality.In the meantime, the Chairman of CAMA stressed that the Authority has high technical and professional experiences with the certificate of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) who are capable to accomplish the works in all fields of civil aviation. He also thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Transport and the attention it paid to CAMA to overcome the difficulties faced in its field and technical work and provide its needs according to the possibilities available to it. Both the Minister of Transport and the Chairman of CAMA were accompanied by the Assistant Deputy Chairman for Airports Sector- Mr. Yahya Al-Kohlani, the Asst. Deputy Chairman for Air Navigation Sector- Mr. Abdullah Al-Mutawakil and Director General of Air Transport at CAMA- Dr. Mazen Ghanem.
