Minister of Transport Discusses Mechanism of Field Hospital Establishment at Sana'a International Airport

At the meeting which was attended by Sana'a International Airport Director General- Mr. Khaled Al-Shayef and Air Transport Director General- Dr. Mazen Ghanem, the Minister of Transport stressed on the importance of establishing the field hospital for chronic diseases to inform the international public opinion of the great suffering of patients because of the siege and closure of Sana'a International Airport by the Saudi- led aggression coalition.
 

He pointed out that the field hospital requires care with respect to all security and technical aspects, delivery of services, facilitating the procedures and requirements of the hospital which will be coordinated between the Ministry of Public Health and Ministry of Transport.
H.E. the Minister said: "we have called for the opening of Sana'a airport for civil and humanitarian flights and held several press conferences that talked about the size of humanitarian and patients' suffering that is caused by the closure of the airport by the Saudi aggression which deliberately kills the Yemeni people in cold blood and in front of a shameful international silence.

He added: "we were demanding the opening of Sana'a airport to save the patients, but with the change of equation and the measures that were taken by the army and popular committees; we will not accept anything but the complete opening of the airport in front of all the Yemeni citizens." The meeting also reviewed the plans and programs for establishing the hospital in the light of the integrated plan that will be submitted by the Ministry of Public Health to the Ministry of Transport with the necessary requirements.
