On 8th of February 2023, a meeting at the Ministry of Transport, chaired by the Deputy Minister- Mohammed Al-Hashemi, discussed the level of performanc and evaluation of the implementation of the projects and activities of the Ministry and its affiliated authorities and corporations during the first half of the year plan 1444 AH.
The meeting, in the presence of the head of the committee assigned by the Executive Office of the Department of National Vision and the Services and Social Solidarity Sector- Engineer/ Sami Jahaf, member of the committee- Mohammed Al-Bazli and the head of the executive unit of the vision in the Ministry of Transport- Engineer/ Nazir Al-Dubaei, reviewed the program for preparing the priorities for the projects of the Ministry for the next year 1445 AH, according to thevDeterminants and guidelines and financing mechanisms.
At the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Transport affirmed the keenness of the ministry and its affiliated authorities to execute the transport's sector projects according to what was included in the plan for the year 1444 AH, and according to the available capabilities of self-support.
And he also indicated that everyone is working on one track, and a team was formed from the executive unit in the ministry to prepare a mechanism and forms for the evaluation during the field visit to the authorities and corporations affiliated with the ministry, in cooperation with the subcommittees to evaluate the level of performance and implementation.
Al-Hashemi also stressed that the priorities of work in the ministry require achievement and execution on the ground, in a way that contributes to strengthening and developing the various transport sectors, and alleviating the suffering of the citizen as a translation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.
While the Head of the Committee touched on the basic determinants that must be applied during the development of the plan for the year 1445 AH, including the determinants for selecting and formulating priorities, determining their status and reference, and the justifications for setting the priority and the degree of its importance.
He also pointed out the importance of formulating and crystallizing them into general policies or directives, and not drafting them in the form of a project only.
The meeting was attended by members of the executive unit, heads and members of the sub-committees of the national vision in the authorities and corporations affiliated with the ministry.
