The administration of Hodeidah International Airport considered the escalation of the American-British aggression and its raids on the airport a blatant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and international agreements and covenants.
It stressed that the American-British aggression targeted Hodeidah Airport and its facilities with more than 30 raids, as part of its criminal aggression through which it seeks to discourage Yemen from supporting the Palestinian people.
The statement held the aggression countries, America and Britain, fully responsible for targeting the airport and the resulting destruction and damage to its various facilities, which would hinder the efforts to rehabilitating and operating the airport.
The statement also stressed that this targeting is an extension of the siege imposed on the Yemeni people and the destruction of their infrastructure, which began nine years ago, and a continuation of the bombing and destruction carried out by the American-Saudi aggression of Hodeidah International Airport and its facilities.
The Hodeidah Airport administration also indicated that this targeting contradicts all the conventions and treaties that criminalize the targeting of civilian airports, calling on the international community and the United Nations to condemn and reject the ongoing aggression raids on the airport
