The Board of Directors of CAMA, in its meeting that was convened on 27th of December 2021 in Sana'a, Chaired by the Minister of Transport- Amer Al-Marani, reviewed the Development Matrix of CAMA and its Sectors and the developments of Sana'a International Airport as a result of the systematic targeting of it by the aggression miltary aircraft.

The meeting, which included the Deputy of the Ministry of Transport for the Air Transport Sector- Abdullah Al-Ansi, the Chairman of CAMA- Dr. Mohammed Abdulkader, and CAMA'S Deputy Chairman- Raed Jabal, discussed the necessary treatments to develop the technical and professional readiness of CAMA in the field of civil aviation and meteorology in accordance with international conditions, requirements and the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The meeting also dealt with the latest developments and events that took place in Sana'a International Airport, the extent of the damages and losses incurred on some of its vital facilities and infrastructure as a result of direct targeting by the aggression'scoalition.

In the meantime, the meeting stressed on the need to allow the entry of the systems and equipment that were prevented from entering by the aggression's coalition and were previously purchased under the supervision of the United Nations and are currently in Djibouti for their importance in providing the necessary requirements for the work of the airport and the resumption of the flights of the United Nations and Humanitarian Organizations operating in Yemen.

The Board of Directors of CAMA also held the countries of the aggression coalition responsible for any damage or delay in the technical systems and equipment used for the tele-communication and air navigation, which ensures the safety and security of civil aviation at Sana'a International Airport and all the Yemeni airports.

The Boead of Directors called on the United Nations to fulfill their obligations to transfer the technical equipment and systems to the airport and to ensure that Sana'a International Airport and its employees will not be targeted by the aggression'scoalition.
