A meeting at the Ministry of Transport headed by the Minister of Transport- Amer Al-Marani discussed on 16^th August 2021 the development mechanism for the technical, financial and administrative works of CAMA during the coming period. 

The meeting- which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Transport for Air Transport Sector- Abdullah Al-Ansi, Dr. Mohammed Abdulkader- Chairman of CAMA, Deputy Chairman of CAMA- Raed Jabal and the Directors General of CAMA- reviewed the work progress report and the financial and administrative remarks and the mechanism of revising them in order to contribute in developing the work of CAMA locally and internationally wise in accordance to meet the requirements of ICAO.   

At the meeting, the Minister of Transport stressed on the importance of developing the work of CAMA technically, professionally and financially during the coming phase to respond to the aspirations of the national Vision for Building the New State of Yemen and which corresponds with the professional status of CAMA.   

The minister also affirmed the importance of taking care of the weather meteorology services and developing the meteorology stations, early warning system and issuing the meteorology Law to cope with the modern developments in this vital field.  

Meanwhile, the Minister of Transport urged CAMA’s officials to exert much more efforts and work in the spirit of one team to boost CAMA through qualifying and training the cadres in the technical, professional and administrative aspects during the coming phase.

In the meantime, the Chairman of CAMA stressed that CAMA has plans and projects which will develop the services of CAMA and correspond with the local and international aspirations. He also stressed that CAMA is committed to all the regulations, systems and agreements in accordance with the international requirements of ICAO and in all the fields of civil aviation as well.
