Deputy Minister of Transport reviews the level of services provided to passengers at Sana’a Airport

, Deputy Minister of Transport, Muhammad Al-Hashemi, was briefed on the level of services provided to passengers through Sana’a International Airport in accordance with international standards and requirements applicable at international airports.

Deputy Minister of Transport heard from the Director General of Sana’a International Airport, Khaled Al-Shayef, an explanation of the workflow at the airport and the navigational services it provides for civil commercial flights arriving and departing from the airport within the framework of the humanitarian truce and the flights of the United Nations and its affiliated organizations and humanitarian organizations operating in Yemen that arrive on a daily basis.

Al-Hashemi inspected the arrival and departure halls at Sanaa Airport, the procedures and services provided to travelers to and from the airport, and heard from specialists an explanation of the facilities offered to travelers and the difficulties they face.

Al-Hashemi praised the technical and professional efforts made by the workers at Sana’a International Airport.. “Sana’a Airport has maintained its technical and professional readiness despite the aggression and systematic siege it has been subjected to by the coalition of aggression for more than seven years.”

He praised the efforts that work on the safety and service of passengers in accordance with international conventions. He added, “We will work to develop and modernize the services of Sana’a International Airport and other bodies affiliated with the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority.”

Al-Hashemi called on everyone to go beyond routine work and contribute to developing performance in line with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
