Deputy Chairman of CAMA: Restricting Flights From Sana'a to One Destination, Fabricated Suffering

The Deputy Chairman of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority- Raed Jabal, confirmed on 8th of June 2023, Thursday, that the coalition's countries coucontinued restriction of flights to and from Sana'a International Airport to only one destination intensifies the suffering of Yemenis.

The Deputy Chairman renewed the Sana'a government's demands to open all destinations to and from Sana'a International Airport as a humanitarian entitlement, adding that the coalition's permission for three additional flights to Jordan is a step that does not meet the minimum actual need for flights.

He also explained that keeping the flights on one destination doubles the costs for citizens wishing to travel to destinations other than Amman.

Jabal concluded his statement to the media of the need to completely lift the blockade imposed on Sana'a airport, as this is an entitlement of the Yemeni people.
