Conclusion of Training Course in National Strategic Planning at Civil Aviation & Met. Institute

the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Institute (CAMI) concluded a training course in National Strategic Planning, organized by the Ministry of Transport in cooperation with the Executive Office of the National Vision Management. The course aimed at providing 25 members of the Ministry of Transport's sub-executive units and their affiliated authorities and institutions with skills in strategic planning and the levels and methodology of planning in the national vision. The five-day course focused on the steps and stages of preparing the national strategic plan, national strategic and interim vision plans, the tasks and roles of the Vision’s Executive Units, and follow-up and evaluation mechanism.In the conclusion ceremony, H.E. Minister of Transport- Brigade/Zakaria Al-Shami stressed on the attention of the outputs of the specific training courses in the field of strategic planning. He also pointed out the importance of applying what was included in the course in the strategic plans and future projects, paying the attention to the efforts of the training staff during the course period that aimed at developing the institutional work.  In the meantime, the minister stressed that the strategic planning course is gaining importance in enhancing the human capabilities, in a way that contributes to the development of the construction and development process during the next year in accordance with the national vision. During the event that was attended by the Chairman of CAMA- Dr. Mohammad Abdulkader, Chairman of the Regulating Land Transport Affairs Authority- Mr. Walid Al-Wadaei, CAMA’s Deputy Chairman- Mr. Raed Jabal, the Assistance   Deputy Chairman for Airports’ Sector- Mr. Yehya Al-Kohlani, Director of CAMI- Dr. Naji Al-Sohmi and Director General of Sana’a International Airport- Mr. Khaled Al-Shayef, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participants.
