At the closing ceremony, H.E. Minister of Transport- Brigade/ Zakaria Al-Shami, H.E. Minister of Youth and Sports- Mr. Hassan Zaid and Chairman CAMA- Dr. Mohammed Abdulkader handed over the First Football Championship Tournament Cup that was held under the slogan "good mind is in healthy body" to the Yemen Red Seaports Corporation Team and gold medals, whereas the second rank and silver medals went to the team of CAMA (A).

Following the handover of the trophy, the Minister of Transport congratulated the first rank team for their efforts in achieving the tournament in a competitive atmosphere. The Minister of Transport also stressed that the success of the first football championship for the employees of the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated authorities and institutions, praising the great efforts made by the organizing committee to make it a success.

For his part, the Minister of Youth and Sports praised the Ministry of Transport's encouragement for sports and athletes by holding this sporting championship, calling the other governmental institutions to follow the example of the Ministry of Transport and taking care for the health of the employees.

In the meantime, the Chairman of CAMA pointed out that the championship has achieved the required level and great success, stressing that the leadership of the Ministry and CAMA will organize various sports championships in the future because of the positive impact on the health and fitness of the employees, in addition to congratulating the Yemen Red Seaports Corp. team on this victory, which is a victory for all the sports teams of the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated authorities and institutions praising the outstanding level presented by the team of CAMA (A) which scored the second rank of the championship and did not receive any goal in all the matches.

The trophies of the championship were handed over to the Ministers of Transport, Youth and Sports in recognition of their strong support for the success of the championship.
