On 28th August 2024, in Sanaa, the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority organized a speech event on the anniversary of the honorable birth of the Prophet May the best prayers and most sincere greetings be extended to his family and companions. 

At the event, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works- Yahya Al-Sayani stressed on the importance of celebrating the birth anniversary of the Greatest Messenger, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace....

He considered the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday as a religious and social occasion that reflects the deep attachment of the Yemeni people to the Holy Prophet and their love for his tolerant message. 

Al-Sayani also pointed out that this occasion embodies the Yemenis’ adherence to their faith and historical identity, and calls on them to reflect on the great human meanings and values ​​that the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, carried to all of humanity.

He said, "This precious religious occasion comes in an exceptional circumstance as a result of the killing and extermination of our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip by the usurping occupier, the Zionist enemy." 

The Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works confirmed that Yemen's position is firm and will not change in supporting and advocating the Palestinian case until the victory is achieved and the Israeli entity is defeated.

In the event, which was attended by the heads of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority- Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation- Zaid Al-Washli, and the Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemen Airways-  Khalil Jahaf, the member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, scholar/ Fouad Naji, confirmed that the biography of the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family represents a moral and humanitarian reference that all tge societies who can benefit from, and celebrating this anniversary reflects the extent to which Yemenis adhere to their religious identity and faith.

He also explained that the lesson of celebrating the Prophet’s birthday lies in drawing inspiration from the lessons and teachings learned from the biography of the Holy Prophet, and embodying them in our practical lives. 

The scholar Naji also pointed out to the importance of taking advantage of commemorating this occasion in calling for a return to the noble values ​​carried by the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, such as justice, mercy, and tolerance.

The event, which was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority- Arif Al-Ashram, assistants deputy chairman of CAMA, general directors, and employees of the Authority, included singing and poetic passages that expressed the greatness of the occasion.
