Chairman of CAMA Reviews Readiness of Sana'a International Airport

in accordance with the conditions and standards applicable at international airports. He also inspected the arrival and departure lounges, the apron, the main landing runway and navigational equipment that have been renovated in the Air Control Center.The Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the CAMA listened from the Director General of the Airport- Mr. Khalid Al-Shayef to a clarification on the level of technical and professional readiness of the airport and the air navigation services provided to UN and International Organizations aircraft. In the visit, the Chairman stressed on CAMA's interest in Sana'a International Airport as it is the main gate and façade of Yemen to the world. He also pointed out that the aggression by its air strikes deliberately tried to make the airport out of readiness and paralyze its movement. I the meantime, he reiterated the readiness of Sana'a International Airport, calling on the United Nations and the International Community to pressurize the aggression coalition to lift the blockade imposed on Sana'a airport.On his part, the Deputy Chairman pointed out that Sana'a International Airport is a civil airport that provides humanitarian services to most of the population of the Republic of Yemen, pointing out that the airport has been renovated and developed to provide distinguished services in the field of civil aviation.
