Chairman of CAMA Meets IRCC Delegation to Yemen Vice President

The Chairman of CAMA- Dr. Mohammed Abdulkader together with Mr. Raed Jabal- Deputy Chairman of CAMA met on 9^th December 2020 with Mr. Alexander Ekoy- Vice President of the IRCC Delegation to Yemen. The meeting- that was attended by Mr. Abdullah Al-Mutawakil- Asst. Deputy Chairman for Air Navigation Sector, Mr. Khalid Al-Shayef- Director General of Sana’a International Airport and Dr. Mazen Ghanem- Director General of Air Transport- discussed the mechanism of cooperation and coordination for the flights of the IRCC, facilitating their arrival and departure from and to Sana’a International Airport as well as discussing the fields of cooperation between CAMA and the IRCC Delegation to Yemen and means of enhancing and developing such.

During the meeting, the Chairman of CAMA praised the humanitarian role played by the IRCC in Yemen especially the execution of prisoners’ exchange that was made lately via Sana’a International Airport which approved to the world its operational and technical readiness to receive all the civilian, commercial and humanitarian flights. The Chairman of CAMA also stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination with the IRCC Delegation and its workers by providing all the facilitations in the field of air navigation and civil aviation; pointing out that CAMA works in accordance with the International stipulations and standards issued by ICAO.

In turn, the Vice President of the IRCC Delegation to Yemen expressed his appreciation to the facilitations provided by CAMA, stressing the continuation of providing aspects of support to Yemen aiming to alleviate the humanitarian suffering which the Yemeni people is facing.

The meeting was attended by Director General of Air Navigation- Mr. Abdullah Al-Eryani, Director General of Navigational Systems and Procurements- Eng. Abdulwahab Abu Taleb, Director of IT- Yehaya Hubaish.
