The Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs- Head of the Executive Office of the National Vision Bureau- Mahmoud Al-Junaid discussed on 9^th June 2021 with the Minister of Transport- Amer Al-Marani, the ministry's plan for the second phase of the national vision for building the New State of Yemen. The meeting, in the presence of the Chairman of the Land Transport Affairs Regulating General Authority- Walid Al-Wadaei, and the Deputy of the Ministry of Transport for Financial Affairs- Adel Al-Madani, addressed the priorities of the ministry's work related to the aspects of the administrative reform.

Al-Junaid stressed the importance of the strategic role played by the Ministry of Transport and its authorities and corporations during the current phase of the national vision to bring about the desired transformation. He also noted the important steps taken by the Ministry of Transport during the first interim plan and the administrative reforms aimed at strengthening the institutional work, improving services and operations, and building the capacity of the cadres.

He pointed out to the need to provide the basic requirements and address the difficulties, in order to enable the ministry to carry out its role and perform its tasks. The Deputy Prime Minister praised the role of the Ministry of Transport and its affiliates in serving the citizens despite the aggression and the siege targeting the potentials of the Yemeni people, including the transport sector.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Transport indicated that the ministry is currently working on implementing the national vision plans that will improve the services it provides to the citizens, with a focus on human development as a basic pillar to advance the authenticity of work. He also praised the efforts of the leadership of the Executive Office of the National Vision Bureau in creating the movement and interaction in the different State’s institutions during the first phase of the National Vision.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Assistant Secretary-General at the Ministers’ Presidency- Moeen Al-Shami, Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit in the Executive Office of the Vision’s Administration- Ali Al-Hakimi, Head of the Executive Unit of the National Vision Department at the Ministry of Transport- Nazir Al-Daba’ai, and Director of Financial Affairs at the Ministry- Mohammed Ateeq, the Executive Unit of the National Vision Department at the Ministry of Transport was honored.
