The Airports Sector started the works of the Symposium on determining the airports and the surfaces of reducing the obstacles that was organized by the Sector on
22nd February 2020 within the preparation and arrangement of the second workshop on determining the airports and the surfaces of reducing the obstacles in or around them. The workshop aims, over a period of three days, to familiarize 34 engineers from the various Sectors and Directorates General with the basic definitions contained in Annex 14 of ICAO related to the airports’ standards that are associated with the surfaces of minimizing the barriers.
The Symposium was attended by the Asst. Deputy Chairman of Airports sector, Director General of the Sector, and a number of technical directorates, technical planning and projects.
