
The world celebrates "World Civil Aviation Day", which coincided on the 7th of December of each year, while the Republic of Yemen's airports are closed due to the blockadeimposed by the aggression coalition. During such occasion, Mr. RaedTalibJabal- Deputy Chairman of CAMA indicated that all the countries of the world are celebrating the International Day of Civil Aviation
, whereas the Yemeni citizen is prohibited from traveling due to the blockadeand embargo imposed on Sana'a International Airport by the Saudi-Led Aggression Coalition. He also pointed to the death of (42) thousand patients in accordance with the Ministry of Healthstatistics, while more than (300) thousand patients await an unknown fate due to not being allowed to travel for medical treatment abroad. In addition, he highlighted on the suffering of the Yemeni expatriates/immigrants who were unable to return to the country because of the closure of Sana'aInternational Airport.
He stressed that the blockade and the closure of Sana'a International Airport are incompatible with all the principles, conventions, international Laws and Chicago Convention. He held the United Nations and the international community responsible for all the consequences of the blockade and closure of Sana'a airport; calling for pressure on the aggression countries to open the airport in front of all civil flights.
